A milled or turned part that the pricing engine can calculate unambiguously gets an instant price: material from the list, a finish with an instant price, a quantity of up to 200 pieces.
When a part goes to a tender
- laser cutting, waterjet cutting, sheet metal bending and 3D printing (always quoted by partners),
- more than 200 pieces,
- a material outside the list or a finish quoted individually,
- complex geometry, several parts in one file or a file analysis error,
- a series order (one batch price for the whole series).
The reason is always shown on the quote screen. A tender is free and does not oblige you to order.
